Construction Métalliques Africaines (CMA), based in Dakar, is a leader in metal construction in West Africa. CMA sought to reposition itself in a market where demand and competition evolve rapidly. After providing managers with an analysis of the issues and prospects, Quale engaged with all of the company’s teams to develop a common vision and to plan the organizational projects to be undertaken. In collaboration with the teams, we helped CMA to develop and implement a new strategy, a new organizational structure and an action plan to achieve the planned repositioning.

Integration and cohesion in the education system

Client: UNICEF and the Ministry of Education of Côte d'Ivoire

Supporting the development of a national education strategy in Côte d'Ivoire

In Côte d'Ivoire, 400,000 children attend Islamic schools, most of which are not recognized by the state. The Ministry in Charge of Education, supported by UNICEF, had initiated the development of a national strategy for the integration of children from these schools in the formal education system. Quale supported this process for a year, bringing to this project our thematic expertise in this area, as well as our tried and tested working methods. We engaged the stakeholders in consultations and participatory analyses. The result was the development of a common vision and a robust strategy that enjoyed broad buy-in.
